The relatively normal Beatrix Mirande fought as a Sapphire Force soldier for fifteen years before a tragic event known only as 'Ashfordia' got her discharged and out of work with some PTSD to boot.

Later, she was warned by a certain pigeon about a cataclysm that would wipe out all life in the universe within a few years. She accepts a chance to change her life for the better and attempt to save everyone as a way to seek penance for the pain caused by Ashfordia.

Armed with a mind-set of being six steps ahead of everybody, a plan involving methods that are unpredictable as possible and a modified handgun, it’s not a stretch to say that Mirande’s anti-nihilistic mind-set has been fuelling her plans to save the everyone with an unhealthy amount of determination.
