Glycerith Ousterhaven is one of the Sapphire Force's strongest soldiers, working tirelessly in both combat and diplomatic situations to ensure the safe lives of aliens in the galaxy, at least in her sector. Her prosthetic left wing serves as a reminder about how hard she has worked over the years.

Things stop going well for her during the events of the story as all Enerviats, including Glycerith begin to experience severe health problems that worsen over time. With the safety of her Enerviat friends and family at stake, Glycerith sets out on her own (unpaid) time to investigate the cause of this complication. Her findings lead her to a run in with a certain blue Hyloglent and results that will blow her mind.
